Concierge was formed as a private corporation during 1996 for the purpose of exploiting text-to-speech technology in the unified messaging services industry by crafting proprietary software. With a going public transaction completed in 2002, Concierge became Concierge Technologies, Inc. and trades under the symbol “CNCG” on the NASDAQ bulletin board.

Throughout the ensuing years Concierge became involved in wireless technology, and in particular wireless Internet provisioning through the newly emerging WiFi industry. With the maturation of smart phone technology the need for broad area WiFi networks diminished and we looked to mobile video, or dash cam, services. As that business matured we established a successful niche in the taxi, limo, para-transit sectors by providing reliable commercial grade camera systems to the fleets.

During January 2015 we raised $3 million in cash to redirect our focus to more mature, profitable, enterprises who could be acquired for reasonable prices and bring value to our shareholders through bottom line profits. We also sold our Janus Cam subsidiary who distributed cameras in order to establish a new subsidiary named Kahnalytics to focus on providing services, including cameras, to the insurance industry that was in need of reliable statistical analysis.

During August 2015 we closed on the acquisition of Tauranga, New Zealand based Gourmet Foods, Ltd. If traveling to New Zealand you would be hard pressed not to see their products in convenience stores, major supermarkets, petrol stations and restaurants. The company currently employs approximately 45 persons and distributes over 30 products throughout New Zealand generating over 60,000 pieces per week and growing. We’re exceptionally pleased to have them aboard the Concierge Technologies team.
